Sorry, a bit anti-climatic there. |
Directions:
Left to right: Essie "Who Is the Boss?", China Glaze "For Audrey", Orly "Green With Envy", Joe Fresh "Teal" |
For my other hand, I used the same method: gradient background, black outline, then colour fill. You might even choose to skip the black outlines - I used them to keep the look of the comic. Have fun and be creative with your underwater scene! Paint different types of fish, colourful coral and rocks.
Looking forward to the last two days of this Jaws fest. Hope you enjoyed this and have a good weekend!
LOL! That is such a fun manicure! Love it!
ReplyDeleteComics are always fun xD Thank you!

ReplyDeleteHaha!! That's such a cute manicure! Nicely done :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer :D
DeleteYou are so talented. I love your step by steps. I am not artistic so they help me out. I plan to do the shark soon. I love frogs and would love to be able to paint some for a manicure. Can you help me out. Thanks...
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot Chrisie, I'm so happy you find them helpful! I'd love to see your shark once you've done it. I'll see if I can come up with anything...no guarantees though haha ^^
DeleteWow! this is amazing, you are so talented..you have literally transformed your nails to a canvas!
ReplyDeletecheap clip in human hair extensions
Wow! So pretty! The shark is adorable, I must add hahah, maybe I'll be brave enough to try freehand someday! <3
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, be brave! :D Something I find really helpful while doing freehand, is to do draw some nail shapes (like in my tutorial), then do a quick sketch of what I want to paint. It really helps me with the scaling, so I can see where I need to paint what, how big, etc.
ReplyDeleteThis is super creative! Love the tutorial you made.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I'm so happy! :)
DeleteThis looks so great! I love the comic too ;)
ReplyDeleteYes, Sherman's Lagoon is one of my favourites! So colourful, and my kind of humour hahaa. Thanks, Kelli!
DeleteThis is so funny!! I was looking for shark nails and found your tutorial! Awesome! Thank you so much!
